Podcast is a fairly new medium which has gained extreme attention over the last few years. They are mostly free, easy to consume on the go and integrate perfectly with our mobile phones. Today, there are 1,000's of podcasts available on virtually any subject.

The entire SkillSignal Team are avid listeners of podcasts and our interests range from Business (Pivot, Business Wars) to History (Hardcore History). From Comedy (Conan O'Brien) to News (Planet Money) and from Technology (Sixteen Minutes) to Roleplaying Games (How We Roll). Sebastian likes to listen to them on Saturday while working the lawn. Vivian gets her updates during her runs on the East River. Rachel and Harshal like to listen to them while working on their latest software sprint.

The subjects of Safety, Technology and Construction are served by incredibly talented podcasters and we thought it'd be useful to sketch a media landscape for you. The Safety Justice League. This is a great starting point for anyone looking to get inspired about EHS. The mission of this great show is to provide a voice for great ideas in worker safety and a platform that transcends the tired safety slogans plastered on worksites by mindless safety drones.

Safety With Purpose from Safeopedia. We love this show! Focused on safety leadership and building a safety culture inside any organization. Excellent Interviews make this entertaining and educational at the same time!

The Safety Pro, with Blaine Hoffmann. Another classic we never miss! Helps you keep up with regulatory updates and provides you with all the relevant information necessary to achieve a safer, more productive workplace.

Safety Culture Excellence, with Shawn Galloway. This is a weekly podcast series by ProAct Safety designed to support your efforts towards excellence in performance and culture.

2. TECHNOLOGY

The Real Estate Innovators with Ryan Cox. Ryan is an investor and managing partner at Founders Grove Capital. Every episode is an in-depth interview of an innovator and how they are disrupting the real estate business. While Ryan is taking a break, we've been listening to his interview archive. We hope to hear new content soon!

The ConTech Crew with James Benham. Another favorite of our entire team. Discussing innovation and all things construction tech including hardware, software, devices, apps and the strategies for applying them on construction projects. This one is a home run every week for the SkillSignal team!

AGC America's ConstructorCast. For anyone in Construction, this is a must-listen monthly show, covering the news, views, and interviews relevant to any construction business. Contractors and industry experts discuss business opportunities and challenges facing today’s construction industry.
